The Red Brick Gym remains closed, but we are excited to announce that Aspen Gymnastics has been approved to offer outdoor gymnastics programming, running two groups of ten kids at a time.
Level 1, 2 and 3 recreation classes, Big Air as well as team practices are on the lawn in front of the Red Brick Recreation Center. Class sizes are limited to maintain social distancing and times and durations have been adjusted. We have limited openings, please contact Liza at firstname.lastname@example.org for class requests or for more information.
Out Tots and Adult programs are currently on hold. We hope to have more information regarding those programs soon!
Our mission is to provide our students with an outstanding athletic program. Gymnastics training builds a strong foundation for all sports. Mentally, gymnastics promotes confidence, concentration, discipline, and hard work. The physical attributes include; flexibility, strength, balance, kinesthetic awareness, and coordination. The benefits go beyond sport and last a lifetime.
Aspen Gymnastics is located in the City of Aspen's Red Brick Gym. The gym is located on 110 East Hallam Street in Aspen's west end.
We offer a full range of classes designed for students of all abilities and ages. Including; toddlers, youth recreational, "big air" ski and snowboard training, adult, cross training, and boys and girls competitive team.
Since our inception in 1994, the Aspen Gymnastics Team has produced several Junior Olympic State Champions, Regional and National qualifiers, with three alumni going on to compete for NCAA division 1 programs, two on full athletic scholarship. Olympians and professional athletes from an array of sports have taken part in our cross training programs.
Our coaching staff is made up of USA Gymnastics certified instructors. Program Director: John Bakken
