Our mission is to provide our students with an outstanding athletic program. Gymnastics training builds a strong foundation for all sports. Mentally, gymnastics promotes confidence, concentration, discipline, and hard work. The physical attributes include; flexibility, strength, balance, kinesthetic awareness, and coordination. The benefits go beyond sport and last a lifetime.
Aspen Gymnastics is located in the City of Aspen's Red Brick Gym. The gym is located on 110 East Hallam Street in Aspen's west end.
In normal circumstances, we offer a full range of classes designed for students of all abilities and ages. Including; toddlers, youth recreational, "big air" ski and snowboard training, adult, cross training, and boys and girls competitive team. Many classes are on hold secondary to the COVID-19 restrictions.
Since our inception in 1994, the Aspen Gymnastics Team has produced several Junior Olympic State Champions, Regional and National qualifiers, with three alumni going on to compete for NCAA division 1 programs, two on full athletic scholarship. Olympians and professional athletes from an array of sports have taken part in our cross training programs.
Our coaching staff is made up of USA Gymnastics certified instructors. Program Director: John Bakken
